By cartoon styles I mean animated/cartoon versions of character. I don't see any cartoon styles submitted anywhere.

Please search Google images for "Cartoon dogs and cats", and see what I meant by cartoon styles.

Your description says that you are not looking for cartoon styles. But you are liking cartoon styles.. ?! Could you please clear what kind of logo you are looking for.

#3 : I really like this... can you put a cat and a bird in there? Nice design!

how about some designs that have a grapevine or grapes? Paso Robles is wine country. It produces some of the greatest red wine in the world. Just a thought.

#2 : how about a little more narrow. Something that will fit into a box image holder close to 1500 px by 1500 px is better for social media applications. I like the "Tweet" bird in that.. Thanks NICE DESIGN!

Green is fine for the vineyards as long as its not used for lettering.

I'm also looking forward to an emblem, bounded logo forms (or graphic supported by words elegantly) as well WITH THE open ones....

#1 : Social networking icons are more square than horizontal. This would not work. Clovers do not represent our city. Please read the brief.

#2, #3, #4 : I like the fact that you included other pets in the design as well but they look as though they have been ill-placed or forcibly placed/dropped onto the design.

Also, the colors are too light. The black and white version is too light. How about darker colors?

#1 : The design is elegant and good use of colors but please include other pets also showing the "dog" in focus is fine...but other pets should also be there.. also include a vineyard in the background (read 4th point in description)..

also the use of a fancy font is not needed.. a decent, nice spaced font which does not look entirely corporate should work.. also try both init-caps and all-caps designs.. and your own creativity in also welcome!!
